Our History — A Legacy Born from the Number 7
Every great brand has a story. Ours begins with a legend.
7 Sports Pro was founded in honor of Juan José "Chigua" Rivera — a legendary baseball player from Puerto Rico whose career spanned two remarkable decades. Known as "The Gentleman of the Center Field," Chigua was more than an athlete. He was a symbol of grace, grit, and greatness on the diamond.
At the age of 38, he reached his 500th hit — a milestone that cemented his place in baseball history. He retired in 1983, and in 2023, the number 7 was officially retired in his honor — a tribute to a career that inspired generations.
That number — 7 — is the heartbeat of everything we do. It represents excellence, legacy, and the belief that every athlete has a story worth telling. When you wear 7 Sports Pro, you carry that legacy with you.
